The drawings above hopefully give an indication of the work I have in still-life. I go back to still-life often as it provides unique challenges that aren't available elsewhere. Accurate positioning and relationships, colour balances that do not alter and the ability to draw in the warmth. Apples, pears, oranges, teapots, coffee pots, saltcellars, patterned cloth, lace, they all have a place in my still-life box.
