Painting: OBJECTS
The still-life gives you absolute control of the painting. You set the scene, the lighting, the colour. Then of course you can decide whether you follow it slaveishly or use these constructs to paint what you believe to work. As I love colour as well as composition the paintings are highly structured. Although never completely abstract, they are nonetheless "abstracted", so my apples are definitely inedible.
