The "H.M.C. Report on manuscripts in various collections. Vol. III" (1904): 'Index, p. 277' Shurrock, G. letter of, 93. Page 93 within the same volume describes the following manuscript letter: "G. SHURROCK to SIR THOMAS TRESAME at Rushton. 1598, March 28th. Creeke. -- Sending the rent for a close in Syllesworth, and stating that he is willing to buy the same, although, the badness of the ground considered, he should prefer some land in the high field. 1/2 p."
