This Indenture made the first day of December One thousand eight hundred and thirty ¶ Between Thomas Shurrock of the City of Oxford Sawyer and ¶ Martha his Wife (which said Martha Shurrock is the only surviving child ¶ of Thomas Ball formerly of Kirtlington in the County of Oxford Yeoman by ¶ Hannah his wife all the other the children of the said Thomas Ball by the said Hannah ¶ his wife having died in their infancy and unmarried and which said Martha Shurrock is also the Heir at Law of the said Thomas ¶ Ball) of the one part and William Folker of Tackley in the County of Oxford Gentleman of the other part Witnesseth ¶ that the said Thomas Shurrock and Martha his Wife for and in Consideration of the sum of Five shillings of lawful money of ¶ Great Britain to them paid by the said William Folker at abefore the sealing and delivery of these presents The Receipt whereof is ¶ hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold and by these presents Do bargain and sell unto the said William Folker ¶ his Heirs Executors Administrators' and Assigns All those four acres of Arable Land lying in the Fields of Tackley ¶ in the County of Oxford containing so much by Estimation (be the same more or less) and hereafter particularly mentioned and ¶ and described (that is to say) Two acres thereof shooting into Banbury way the Land formaly of John Swift on the South and ¶ two acres residue thereof lying next to the Heath called Tackley Heath shooting upon Lands formerly of Francis Walker on the South¶ And also all that piece or parcel of Meadow Ground containing by Estimation one Land (be the same more or less) situate lying and being ¶ in the Meadows of Tackley aforesaid betwixt Tackley Mill Breach and the Meadow called Bridge Meadow Together with Commons and ¶ Common of pasture for Twenty sheep and three Beasts to go depasture and feed and to be had and taken in and when in the Commons ¶ and Commonable places of Tackley aforesaid And all and singular Houses Outhouses Hedges Ditches Mounds Fences ways paths ¶ passages Waters Watercourses profits commodities emoluments and advantages whatsoever to the said Hereditainments herein before ¶ bargained and sold belonging or anywise appertaining And the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders yearly ¶ and other rents issues and profits of all and singular the said premises Tohave and Tohold the said four acres of arable ¶ land And also the said piece or parcel of Meadow Ground Commons and Common of pasture and all other Hereditainments hereby ¶ bargained and sold a intended so to be unto the said William Folker his Executors Administrators and Assigns from the day next before the ¶ day of the date of these presents for and during and unto the full end and term of one whole year from thence next ensuring and ¶ fully to be complete and ended Yielding and Paying therefore at the end of the daid term the rent of One pepper corn (if lawfully ¶ demanded) To the intent that by Virtue of these presents and by force of the Statutue made for transferring uses into possession ¶ he the said William Folker may be in the actual possession of all and singular the said premises above bargained and sold and be ¶ thereby enabled to accept and take a Grant and Released of the Freehold reversion and Inheritance thereof To such uses upon ¶ such Trusts and to & for such ends intents and purposes as one mentioned and declared in and by a certain Indenture of Release ¶ already prepared and intended to bear date the day next after the day of the date of these presents and made or eapressed to be ¶ made between the said Thomas Shurrock and Martha his wife of the first part the said William Folker of the second part and ¶ William Eaton Burrows of the City of Oxford Gentleman of the Third part In Witness whereof the said parties to these ¶ presents have hereunto set their Hands and Seals the day and year first above written.
